Gas Mains Replacement - Birmingham Road

Cadent information - There has been increased leakage in the area and Cadent is planning the replacement at short notice so the work can be completed before colder weather increases demand on the gas network. The project will take approximately eight weeks across three phases, with seven-day working from Monday to Sunday, and will require temporary traffic lights on this busy route.

Please see the phase plan. REMOS live traffic monitoring and variable message signs will be used to help manage road-user impact. Approximately 10 properties and The Hatton Arms are affected in Phase 1, no properties are directly affected in Phase 2, and eight properties are affected in Phase 3.
